Chinese mux 10E

Not been updated at either Lyngsat or Flysat for a while I think,,
There are now 14 channels in the mux ..
One of which is fta at the moment
KTV
Kids TV ?
all others are encrypted.

Yes still there and F.T.A. -- showing 10.9 db on - DR- HD F 15 into C.M.1.8

How weird... I am going to try this again. Surely I should see more than 1dB from a 1.5m dish?

hi CJ just tried the Chinese mux its 9.2 db here

I guess my house is much too much in the way (restricted view towards the west from 5E from the 1.5m dish's perspective).

Over 5db here on Carl using the PLL c band lnb which is approx 8 to 10 degrees from the focus..

Just a curiosity these days..
I can no longer lock any of the Startimes muxes at 10E ..
Can anyone in the UK achieve lock ?
Remember I no longer have an lnb at the focus of Christina ..not that this was possible pre dual lnb mount months ago.

Locking 3742 - R - 10114 the other t.p ,s are a good 2db under lock - 2 channels fta a the moment.

Is that transponder TOD ..or can you lock it all day long ?

hi - not sure if its time of day dependent - not been here for ages -- but it has strengthened through the evening - 9.3 db with audio and pic breakup at 7.30 this evening
9.6 db now at 9.50 pm - no breakup at all .
will leave the dish on this sat and look in the morning

Some judicious tweaking of the Elevation jack ...from the comfort of my bed ....and managed an intermittent lock on 3742R ..on the F15
at 9db dead...
So I guess the dual lnb mount is working reasonably well ..
a combination of clear skies and the right time to try I guess..

..even managed a couple of screen caps using the highly sensitive tuner of the TBS6983
