Chrissy store adverts

Sigh. Wearying of all these anthropomorphic TV ads. Cute I suppose if you're a little'un, but they're all over the schedules, and not just Chrismas time.
Started years ago with morphing mouths on animals, now CGI running rampant.

Getting my moaning in early this year :-lol
 
Bring back Yuletide.

Mind you, we Pagans never really lost it.
 
No TV in our house when I was young. 1950's wireless fare at Christmas was a Tony Hancock Xmas special. Good it was too If I recall.

Simple pleasures.
 
Haven't watched television enough to see christmas ads, my aerial's been unplugged for months (and no sat stuff set up either, hmm, the irony of being on a forum based around TV reception, and I've pretty much cut off all reception of TV!!), from what I hear though, same old soppy wet drech as always... :-lol

After all, it's still November... :-rofl2

Almost all, if not ALL, of those ads are a complete load of "excrement"!
