Chuck is awesome!

I've loved this show since the first episode, it's about an average computer-whiz-next-door who receives an encoded e-mail from an old college friend now working in the CIA; the message embeds the only remaining copy of the world's greatest spy secrets into his brain.

So have I but I was right teed off when it went onto the subscription Living channel for the latest series.

I was such a keen guy after the promo's on Virgin 1 and the first episode, I downloaded the whole of season 1 and watched it. :)

Did the same with season 2 as they kept being shown in the USA. :)

Totally missed season 3 due to exams, my mate told me season 4 had started! Watched 17 episodes of season 3 in a day! :D

This was only just 2 weeks ago, seen all episodes of season 4 upto now too...

Why did it ever move to Living? Virgin 1 was its' home :(

When $ly bought Virgin's channel portfolio it decided that Channel 1 did not fit in with its line-up and would concentrate on Living.

At least, that's more or less what they said.
 
There you go, missed that, they move things about and they get lost, don't even think of looking at Living for good TV, will have to watch it next time around. What sort of name is Living for a channel? Sounds like a channel about household goods.

Funnily enough, when I read Rolf's post my immediate thought was that Living is just the sort of name that you would see on retirement home newsletter.

Virgin sold out to Sky? What a joke, why create a channel to rival Sky 1 but then sell out?
 
What's with the massive gap! We are waiting! Still 2 weeks till the next episode! :-googly
 
An even bigger gap for me - I stopped watching when it moved fron Channel 1!

It's probably the mis-season break. We never used to suffer from this in the UK when there was couple of month's delay between UK and USA transmissions. Now they are within a week of each other there's no time to close up the gap.

It's too long though, 17th of January is too far away from the 29th November!
 
Well maybe by a week but that's not too far away.

Both The Event and The Mentalist are are on mid-season breaks in the UK ATM.

Seriously though such a long gap feels like the series ended...
 
You'll notice that they all try to enter the mid-season break with an episode that leaves a lot of cliff-hangers and questions so that you'll be sure to return in a month or so's time.

They did too, it's quite clever, but 3 weeks holiday without Chuck has been unbearable!
