They have a banner (really annoying) running across the screen that says:

From 1st February 2010 they are moving to Nilesat 101 Downlink Frequency 11.976 V 27500 FEC 5/6

City 7 TV was one of my favourite 7W channels. I often enjoyed Blue Healers and Keeping Up Appearances. It has always been the strongest 7W signal for me here in the UK and I can even often watch in heavy rain. Bloomburg which is currently on the other transponder is much more hit and miss for me.

Thought I'd post the info as i'm sure I can't be the only person to watch City 7 here in the UK (am I?) hehehehehe

The only consolation is that the 11977V transponder is perhaps just in the category of second strongest receivable (V) transponder as far as the UK is concerned; in fact, sometimes it gives a stronger reading though always less stable in reality than the strongest 11862V transponder; its biggest snag is the 5/6 fec.
