Hello, I have two lg tvs both will be in the same room remotes are conflicting, what options do I have please ?
I assume they are IR remote.
TBH not a lot.
There are three things i can think of:
1) wire up one of the tellys by using an ir extender cable and some gaffa. lots of gaffa is usually required to make the seal light-tight (incl the IR eye in the tv). If your tv does not support ir extenders (few do) then you will need a generic extender kit.
2) Get a more expensive IR blaster controller. These are boxes or boards for computers allowing you to control several IR extenders in paralel. You then have to control the tvs from a computer, or possibly if someone's made an app for the controller.
3) if your lgs are highend, you may be able to control via wifi. In that case you may be able to distinguish between the two in the app for your smartphone.
Others may have more ideas.
What models are they?
Oh, i almost forget:
4) go ask neighbour if you can swap an LG for his Sansung. Problem solved.![]()
We have a setup at work in our STB-testing lab. Thanks st1, there both more/less the same tv apart from size LG 55UH650V | LG Electronics UK computer control sounds good, I will be linking a pc to tv and controlling everything from laptop is the final setup I have in mind, will have read up thanks

I'll have a word with our QA people to see what they're using and what their experience is.
