confusing me?

Hey, im new too all this and its confusing.
I dont understand what the astra, eurobird etc etc are? and how do i find out what im on.
im not sure what info you need so just ask what you need.

It would help us a lot if we knew your location, and what equipment you have there. Also which channels you recieve at the moment.

I live in Birmingham and as for my equip. im not totaly sure.
All i know is i have an amstrad digi box and a small (1m i think) dish..
:)
 
If you are watching the 'Sky' channels (are you?) then you will be pointing at 28'east.
I have to say a 1M dish is a bit of an overkill for 28'east in Birmingham.
Did you buy it like that or inherit it ?

yeah i am watching sky channels...the dish is just what sky gave us with when they installed it all :D
