Connection problem

Hi
Since i reset and renewed my password with the instructions of compufunk (thank you) I am able to connect in the web interface (f.e. download movies to my server). Unfortunately since then I'm neither be able to connect to the dreamboy by telnet (message "host not reachable" - i don't even get to the user/password entry) nor by DreamboxControlCenter (message "Error 10057 in function send / Socket is not connected). May be it's a registry entry I have to change even if I get these messages on all my computers!?
I'd like to find out the reason and not flash the box. Can anyone help? Thank you and excuse my bad english,

You changed the password in DCC? The password is case sensitive.

Did you reboot the Dreambox?
 
In DCC I put in the user & password I have on my Dreambox. I changed the password on my Dreambox with TuxBox Commander because I got it from ebay and i didn't know the user & password. I found it out, changed it and tried to connect with telnet and DCC (not possible), but I can connect to the Webinterface.
I rebooted the Box several times. Another user in another forum said it may be because of the software firewall, but I deactivated it with no success...
 
Are you prompted for the username and new password with a web browser?

Can you access the Dreambox via FTP? Are you running Vista? Have you added the Dreambox IP address as a safe zone to your firewall?

Also- is your box a c a b l e box? If yes - please be fully aware of forum rules.

Yes, for some functions (f.e. download the movies to a server directory), and it works.

No.

Yes.

Yes, and as I said, I also deactivated it.

Yes.
If yes - please be fully aware of forum rules.
