for question 1 sorry cant help

q2 and q3 together is easier to answer:

If you are talking completly legit systems then basically you need 2 things to get paid for tele..
You need a CAM (Conditional access module) and a valid card.

The cam is the hardware that does all the magic and the card essentially holds the keys (and hence tells the cam that you can decode signal)

You can get systems with this CAM embedded, basically built into the receiver and it will just have a slot visible for the card It will only take cards belonging to the encryption system that the embedded cam is for.

Alternativly you get a receiver with a CI slot (looks like a laptop PCMCIA slot) and then buy a CAM additionally but thats going off topic..

So either way you need a paid for card.

Just make sure you want cryptoworks as there are many others and differant packages use differant encryptions.

Hope that helps a bit
