D 8000, small comunication prob

80cm Orbital Satellite Dish
Motorized
LNB with 2 outputs, 2nd output leading to upstairs and using Dreambox 500S.
Pioneer VSX-1018AH-K Amp/Receiver,
My Location
Stockton-on-Tees, Cleveland
my dreambox has been working great, up untill today, well this what happened; 6am this morning (monday) the dreambox was accidently put into shutdown mode (completely off) instead of just standby, when i got up at around 9am i noticed someone had shut it down instead of pressing the standby button, so i switched it back on, it went through the startup, everything was exactly how i set it up but noticed that the channels (SKY1, GOLD, SKY Premiere, etc) were all on 2 hops instead of 1, and the dreambox 500 which i have upstairs, those channels wern't even coming on,
also on the dreambox 8000, when i press the blue button, and then press the red (keys) button i get the message 'Sorry, Connection Failed.'

I asked my mate to check to see whether I am still online and visable, he said, yes, everything is all ok...

I am confused now, is there anything in the settings i need to make sure is checked or enabled/disabled??

The Image I am currently using on the Dreambox 8000 is Nabilo Blackhole V.0.9 and Cccam 2.1.0

any ideas/solutions??

the pictures are breaking up every couple mins, before yesterday it was all perfect, only just slight glitches

Nabilosat addons server is currently offline. Hence, even though your DM is properly connected to the web, you will not be able to connect to the addons server. It is as if you try and browse a web site which is temporarly offline.
It is a matter of time, and will be back online.
 
I noticed nabilo forum was dead yestreday , thanks for the confirmation deepdiver.

As for your Hop1 / hop2 issue mate, it totally depends on what you have in your config.

Do you have access to just 1 share ?
When it reports 2 hops , what CAID does it show, 0961 or 0963 ?
If it shows 0963 then edit your Cline so you only take hop1's or simply block 0963 completely.

Hi, The caid number that comes up is 961

I decided to leave it a day without doing/changing anything and I am please to say all the channels are back on 1hop with no breakups, also the the channels on my Dreambox 500 that I have upstairs have all come back on too,
SKY1 HD, Sci-Fi HD, MTVNHD etc... are not on though, but as long as the others are on without breakups, i'm happy with that for time being..
The premium HD channels like SKY Premiere HD, SKY Sports 1 HD etc.. don't come on, haven't been on for a while, but as I say, standard def channels will do till this card chageover business gets sorted and settled...
 
This issue sounds like its out of your hands mate. You need to speak with the card holder. Its 99% certain he has been tweeking your access to his server.

how does the dreambox 8000 works. does it open all channel on hotbird, astra and nilesat. I have been searching through internet but no information there. how can i get information about it.

No it does not, it is not a magic box, just a complicated hobbyist stb
There is plenty of info already on the forum but you have to spend the time reading it.
