Just done a Blindscan from 11120 to 11130MHz (in 2MHz steps) with SR7200 and some rates just either side of that, but appear to have picked nothing up (using the new DVBSky S952 PC card and ProgDVB Pro, trial version, with the steerable TRIAX dish).
Is that because the signal is very weak (currently showing<10%, even with the Autotune applied), the broadcasts are intermittent, the kit I'm using or just "me"?

Now it is off the TP11126 V 7200, from morning to afternoon, at 7:00 PM (GMT + 1) I have to change the length -0'6 to compensate the position of the satellite, see if it improves the signal in 11131 V 14400 , It is active.
Current time: 7:00 p.m.

Thanks but can't find either 11126MHz V or 11131MHz V - must be something to do with either the s/w or that the beam is very weak here in S.England (quite a number of other transponders on 7a are showing up, so the tuner can't be too bad, and I know that the dish is fairly accurately aligned!)

Anyone else been able to lock either of these channels, and with what from where?

No problems here with 11131 V 14400 steady signal just waiting for the feed to go live in about 30 min.

Must be my kit or ProgDVB - possibly due to the S/R because I can't seem to add a new channel with S/R 14400 to the 7a database (although I can for the purposes of doing a Blind Scan/Search!)

Thx for all the posts - obviously "something" is wrong at this end, and I suspect that the sat card control s/w is probably mainly to blame.

Therefore, can anyone suggest s/w other than ProgDBV (or the AWFUL s/w that came with the Sat card - can't even see how to add a new satellite!!) that might work better with the DVBSky S952 card (If appropriate, please start a Conversation or a new Thread to discuss this)?

The signal went up or the conditions improved, this afternoon I also lost them.
I have 9'2dB now (23:00 GMT + 1), the channels broadcast in black, but to tune them does not matter.

Thanks Tururu but still can't get a sniff of either frequency signal on either the sat card in the PC or the TM.

Funny thing about the TM though: I already have a transponder set up in the main 7E transponder list on 11126V 14400, but when I try to add a new one on 11131V 14400, I am told that the transponder already exists - as 11126V 14400, and so it won't let me set up 11131V 14400 at all!

And if I try to add 11131V 14400 to separate the 7E "Feeds" transponder list, that locks the machine completely with the transponder frequency displaying just a load of ASCI characters (have to switch the machine OFF and then ON again at the mains switch to clear the problem)!

Oh Well, maybe "next year"??

OTOH, I have just set up the Vu+ again in place of the PC (very little space available and so it is one or the other) and am running a Blind Search on 7E to see if that can find either transponder frequency.

I only know the VU+Solo2, with this you would not have to have problem, it supports up to 2Mhz separate channels without giving problems.
11126V14400 is not active, when it starts with SR7200.

In this other post leave the file satellites.xml to copy and add the tp with your data for technical links/feed you use, as a new satellite to 7.1E.

Solo conozco el VU+solo2, con este no tendrias que tener problema, admite hasta canales separados 2Mhz sin dar problemas.
11126V14400 no esta activo, cuando arranca esta con SR7200.

En este otro post deje el fichero satellites.xml para que copies y añadas los tp con sus datos para los enlaces tecnicos/feed al que uses, como un nuevo satelite a 7.1E.

ATM, I'm almost pulling out what little hair I have left because I found that the Solo2 was playing up and I've had to reflash it (now OpenVix 4.2.23) and then reload channel lists and so on - and it's been a while since I had to do that and so had more-or-less forgotten how. Probably be tomorrow at the earliest before I get anywhere near looking for that transponder again!

OTOH, w.r.t. one of Tururu's earlier posts about blind searches, when I was trying with the both the sat card and then the TM, I was able to set them to scan in 1MHz steps from around 11120 to 11140MHz (and with the sat card set to look for S/Rs of both 7200 & 14400) and I never found anything!

Let's hope, tomorrow, I have more luck with the Solo2 - but, maybe, I have a sensitivity problem with the Iverto Black Ultra Twin on the dish at the end of the garden (now, clutching at straws, I am wondering if replacing that by a TM Gold - which I found to be slightly better on the fixed dishes than the Inverto Black Ultra Single - might "help")
Edited: Well, did manage to upload the latest Catseye E2 channel lists to the Solo2, and so decided to run a general blindscan on 7E (found nearly 400 channels), and then manual scans on both 11126 & 11131 V - and STILL found nothing at all on the transponder frequencies of interest. Basically, I have now run out of ideas as to what to try next .

Anyway, sorry to have messed this thread up a lot.
