Thanks Net1, that is interesting. My favourite episode involved the Brain of Morbius (spelling?). Anyone heard of it please?

I certainly remember the episode Jimbo, think it was probably Mobius.

No, Morbius it is then. :)

Doctor Who: The Brain of Morbius, (1976)
Tom Baker, Elisabeth Sladen, Philip Madoc

On the planet Karn, mad doctor Mehendri Solon (Philip Madoc) is keeping alive the brain of Morbius, the most evil of the Time Lord criminals. Fortunately, the Doctor (Tom Baker) arrives on Karn, and immediately sets about to destroy the brain. Unfortunately, he may well end up housing the brain himself, if Karn, and a mystic cult known as the Sisterhood, have any say in the matter.

"The Brain of Morbius" was written by Terrance Dicks

The name Morbius was probably used as a tribute to Dr Morbius from The Forbidden Planet (Walter Pidgeon)

My favourite episodes are probably the Patrick Troughton ones, however I do have a liking for the two films with Peter Cushing
