db 700 display problem

a fried of mine has a problem with the display of his db7000. it is turned black despite that the db is workink. can be there any solution to repair it with a softwar or manual setting?

Hello tusarsari,

Do you mean the LCD display?
Check the display setup and try to make changes to the LCD menu.
If this doesn't help, then it might be the flexible PC board that comes out of the LCD module that is not making good contact with the respective connector.
 
or there is the oled upgrade, but its pricey at £60.
 
Or you can still buy replacment display's for about 40 euro
