I have recived the following on a direct mailing from the group.

My French isn't up to much, but I think he's saying that if we give him the codes for powerVU his world will be complete.

The French and 'le vin' seem to be on par though.

Unfortunately he cannot be helped (the PowerVu question - not the drinking !)
 
what's more, PoewerVu is not principally an encryption system, it's a compression system. There are FTA Powervu transmissions as well as encrypted PowerVu tranmissions. Point is, even if the encryption system used were to be cracked, one would still need a non-MPEG digital PowerVu receiver...
