I posted this on AV Forums but thought I'd ask here in case anyone might know. I recently acquired a second leg X2200W amp and set it up as per instructions. I have Sky box, media streamer and fire stick all plugged into the amp and the video and audio work absolutely fine. The issue comes with trying to connect my ancient DVD player to the analogue inputs on the amp - the amp simply doesn't recognise there's a video input there and I am left staring at the "DENON" writing on screen. The analogue audio, however, is working OK. I tried several devices with several outputs (component and composite) but none seem to work. I made sure that the analogue scaler and video conversion option is selected in the video output menu of the amp ...but no luck. Maybe I am doing something wrong? I can't think of anything else to try. Is this perhaps a known issue?
