Diablo cam - problems??

Hi Guys, I am newbie and just had my first motorised system fitted this week. I have a Toppy 7710 HD box with 1M dish. I have downloaded the services from Thor in order to get the canal + / Sport channels and the discovery HD stuff etc. I have a new diablo 3 cam with cas3 programmer and I have loaded the underworld 160. When I select one of the channels it does not always unscramble. I have tried leaving it for around 2 hours but still nothing! but sometime it just clicks straight in and can watch for 30mins or so and then can lock up and i get the message "programme scrambled or not showing" on the screen. I am disappointed as it is not relaible to watch a film and find it dropping out. Is this normal? any advice would be helpful

The answer may lie in the fact that even with SD some cams do not work with certain stb's, with HD it is a rather steep learning curve for people to know what works with what. It may be a software bug in the Topfield. Did you check out the compatibility with them first?
 
No, being a newbie and probably a bit naive I was assume that a diablo cam would work no problem. Although to be fair to say it happens on the sd services as well. any idea who would know about compatibility between a toppy and the diablo card?

Or the Duolabs site I have no idea if there is info there but that is the place to start IMHO
 
I ve a technomate jasperham 03 and sometimes mine does the same i just simply switch box off and back on again and cam re initilizes usually happens after moving motor
 
I find the TF7710 needs a "kick" regularly too!

Normally it's enough to release the Diablo with the button (just out of it's connection) and just pop it back after about 5 secs. Otherwise reboot box as kenny1234 says.
