Can any body help me i have been left a lenth of this two core cable title Digital Broadband which has a thick cable a nd a thin cable

can i use the thick cable as a coaxl cable for a superior tv cable as it is probably shielded if so do i need to purchase a different coaxl cable connector than the normal bog standard

The cable simulates a figure of 8 and is black in colour

If the smaller cable is a telepone cable, it is probably cable TV product, so will be fine for TV distribution, the connectors required will depend on the cable diameter.
 
Cable tv - analogue or digital - uses frequencies only as far up as lower UHF, any coaxial cable at all should cope with that. It will be 75 Ohm, hence either rca or f connectors can be used, interchangably.

If thicker coax, it's probably CT165 (equivalent) for distribution as far as the junction boxes, yes you'd need special plugs for that. For thinner ct125, you can "bodge fit" a standard ct100 coax, just screw down over the stripped outer braid, don't try it over the outer insulation!
