Can anyone explain why my official digitalb card will not work in a t-rex cam (predator 3.32) ? Screen says 'not running or scrambled'

If t-rex cam is useless with digitalb will any dual (conax+irdeto) cam open digitalb or must it be a conax 4.0?

Your Digitalb card should deffinately work with your trex/ dragon cam. Mine does!!
 
But what predator level is your dragon/t-rex

have you had your card activated yet ? I have read that the newer cards no longer have the initial free time, where you can view the channels before it has been activated. Lots of people are using the Dragon/T-Rex cam with a DigitAlb subscription, and receiving the updates.
What receiver are you using with the Cam and is it patched? Have you contacted your supplier to ask if the card has been activated and have you followed the instructions for the card update?
Can you please post back with more detailed information regarding the problem.

I called the seller - ALSAT - and gave them the card number and they say it is activated - but I can't open any channels. I am using a Technomate 5500 CIP and a T-Rex cam loaded with predator 3.32. The cam opens art sport perfectly - but not digitalb.
(I also have an old dual cam (conax/irdeto) but that won't open digitalb)
My receiver is not patched so far as I am aware. With Art Sport all I did was put the card in the cam and I got a picture. I tried the same with digitalb but it doesn't work. I don't know what you mean about following the card instructions for updates. I put the card in an just get the 'scrambled' message.
I called Alsat again and they say the fault is with the cam. They say digitalb works perfectly with Conax 4.0 and should work with Dragon cam. I don't believe the cam or the receiver are faulty, like I say Art Sport opens. Maybe I need a predator upgrade. If not I think Alsat have taken money for a faulty card and are bullsh*tting me.
 
CAN ANYONE OPEN DIGITALB WITH A DRAGON CAM ON PREDATOR 3.32 (or an earlier version) ??

try a later version of Predator, 3.40 or later, and see if that works, you can always go back to an earlier Predator.

My t-rex cam is at the shop as we speak awaiting update to 3.43 at a cost of £5
Jeez, I hoped that by forking out £115 (art sport 1-6 + al jazeera for 1 year) and £151 (digitalb 14 months) I could relax for year or so!

I would have recommended you bought a card programmer and updated the Dragon Cam yourself, but as updates seem to have dried up perhaps it's wiser to await new developments.
Please post back with the results as I'm interested to discover where the problem lies.

:-DOH! All I had to do was input the new frequency for digitalb to get the signal. Digitalb's frequency had changed since it was originally stored in my eutelw2 channel list!
 
That was some time ago when that changed, and caused problems for some older receivers whose tuners couldn't get the 32000 SR, at least you know you can now receive the package, with your current set up, and can enjoy the package.
Please post back periodically with your thoughts on the package, both content and quality.

Yes it's working OK with an old dual ca cam I bought off ebaY.
 
I recently had my t-rex cam upgraded to predator 3.43 and the digitalb card now works with the cam.
