Discret 11 and 12 scrambling

Here in France we are some hobbyist who likes old scrambling system (canal+ in eighties)
I have made a scrambling system to fit in an original decoder to change it in an analog coder
Does someone here interested ???

Does this require the original Discret11 decoder to make it into an encoder?
 
yes alex !
in france there is still some old original D11 decoder , this add-on board is to generate a discret encoded video to make our old decoder (home made DIY decoder) alive !
the picture above is D11 decoder used in france in nineties , it also exist D12 (similar to sky decoder sva1) in swisserland belgium morroco and iceland !!!

In Morocco (2M channel), it was definitely not D12. It was rather TUDI14, probably the most complex line delay scrambling variant there is. It used very long scrambling patterns (in the magnitude of tens of fields IIRC) and data signaling in active video lines, pretty much like VideoCrypt S.

but you need to have an discret11 to use it !!!!

what kind of video file is it ?
it have to be an 768x576 pixels size !

I tried it in CryptImage but it was having none of it. I can do it but will take me some time. Will be interesting to unscramble it.

I spent some time trying to decode this but due to YT compression and the fact that it has been resized to 480 pix in height makes it difficult to analyse. I may look at it another day but am parking it for now.
 
I used to work for a cable company called Cablelink in Dublin in the 1990s.
Cablelink tested the Discret system in the late 1980s, which had been intended for use to launch the Premiere Movie Channel on the cable network. However, the deal did not proceed, and a couple of years later Cablelink changed to the Cryptovision system to launch premium channels from Sky.

Before I left Cablelink, I salvaged some equipment that was being scrapped. I have a Discret headend encoder and a few decoder units that were used for parts. The encoder still powers up, but there is a fault somewhere in the video circuit.
I would love to get the encoder working, but I don't have enough technical knowledge to repair it, so I am offering either:
1. To pay someone with the technical knowledge to get the encoder working again.
2. To trade the encoder and decoders for a unit that someone can build for me that simulates the Discret composite video and audio encryption.

I can provide pictures of the equipment on request.
