DiSEqC motor setup

Hi Guys,

I've discovered on one of my Technomate DiSEqC motors the arm has some 'play' in it.

Does this mean this motor is no longer fit for purpose, can it be fixed easily?
Is there anything specific that causes this?
 
Can't find it ATM but there is a thread and possible fix , is it left right play or up down or both, I could wobble mine quite a bit, got a new one in the end

It's left right play. I can move it with my hand about 1mm or 1 or 2 degrees.
 
Many thanks for the replies, I have followed the PDF guide but unfortunately screw 3 has rusted and wont move, when I try it just rounds it off more, therefore I presume I cannot progress any further.
 
You can reach the third screw better by opening the motor house, I think.

Maybe that way you can loosen the screw?
(The thread mentions still other causes, when this screw doesn't fix it.)



Edit:
NB. As I understand it, the two screws must be loosened, and the third screw is for adjusting. After adjusting, the other two screws must be fixed (or how do you call that) again.

After messing with the 3 screws and the nut corresponding to rusty screw 3, no matter the screw height of all 3, the motor sounds the same in all positions to my untrained ear. I have also tightened the Allen bolt again. I don't have any play now and the motor moves so I will go with this for now. No idea how much power it's drawing or how to test or if I need to worry.
