Diseqc Switch Problem

1m Mutlibracket (19e, 13e, 10e, 9e, 4.8e) & 1.2m @ 28e
My Location

Hello, I have a problem with a diseqc switch I bought off ebay. If I connect one dish to it, I am able to see whatever sattelite the dish is aligned to, However if I connect another sattelite dish to Input 2 I cannot see the 2nd one, The signal drops dramticly and as such I cannot see anything. It is not the receiver as I have tried two and neither work with it. Anyone got any ideas?
 
Have you set DiSEqC on the receiver for ports 1,2 or A & B for the two sats?

Yep already done on both receivers
 
both receivers? do you mean you have tried both, or have u tried to connect 2 receivers to one dish?

if the first then i would jus send it back and try another one.
 
The first one, I've tried two recievers and neither of them will work when I switch sattelites.
 
If the signal drops dramatically when you connect a dish to the second port, then you probably have a faulty switch.
