Weather depending, I am going to set my motor up again this weekend.
My longitude is -2, so last time I aligned the dish and motor to Thor. Then I used 30W and 23.5E to fine tune it (I have no line of sight beyond 28E).
Now, I have setup a Zone 1 dish for 30W. Therefore, I will only be using the motorised dish from 5W to 23.5E. Should I still set it up using Thor as the reference satellite, or use something that is more towards the middle in-between 5W and 23.5E?
Its a 1m dish. The most marginal/fringe beams that I am aiming for is 16E which it got with no issue last time. Feeds on 10E and 23.5E - it picked up some, most likely due to limitations of my dish. Feeds on 3W would be a bonus, but the dish is no doubt to small for those.
Thanks
