Agree with Huevos: If you draw a line from bottom of the dish and top point of the LNB, than you, approximately can check direction to sat. Measurement of LNB feedarm will give different degrees.

I can agree with that to , but its not what Huevos said in the first place : All you have to do is look along the bottom LNB arm. If you look along that arm and it lines up with an obstruction the dish is blocked.

And

Just place a digital level along the LNB arm and you'll find that angle is more or less the same as the satellite elevation
.

Yes, bottom as opposed to the side ones. Of course it is going to be to the top of the LNB because that is not in the path.
