Can anyone tell me what the db figure of 0.6 means on quad lnb?

Is there a specific value it needs to be for better reception?

Thoe figures are meaningless because there is no official standard by which they are measured. Best bet is to use a decent branded LNB of a known make like Invacom.
 
It is ment to be the Noise level that the LNB has. The figures used to mean something back in the analogue days but now it doesn't mean much. The companys who make LNBs seem to print any dB they want.
LNB with a lower dB is thought to be the best. I've used 3 types 0.6,0.2,0.1 and found the 0.2 better for me. You'd be better off with a bigger dish than an expensive LNB.

Only asked that because I seen a 43cm dish on ebay with quad lnb with 0.6db for what looks like a bargain. I'll maybe now go for a 60cm dish now as its probably bargain basement stuff!
