Making smart arse jibes about a regional dialect of the UK is not cool.
It shows a lack of respect and serves no purpose except to expose the limitations of the person making the jibe.

Not when many other people are in the same "boat" with "geordie" in particular - more likely shows a reluctance on the part of that part of the UK population to work with the rest of it. OTOH, maybe they don't - in which case, NSW might be a good place for them !

I was born and raised in the North East and I find your comments about the folk of that region to be insulting.

Well you do seem to losing your sense of humour - almost all of us have heard somewhat similar jokes about the places from which we come, and have learnt to ignore any underlying tones of actual disrespect. OTOH, you likely have not.

I was born and raised in the North East and I find your comments about the folk of that region to be insulting.

I have worked with many people over the years, never had a problem understanding Geordies in fact they have a great sense of humour like Liverpudlians..
