Good catch that 12034H! Getting about 2dB here on the Fibo.

Anyone getting 12073H or 11996H? These carry OSN transponders, apparently on Nilesat 102 but I am not getting a lock at around 4.2dB... MBC 11938V transponder is at 8dB here, though.

In UK, it's very strong on a 1.2m dish. I don't watch sports much so couldn't advise you on the content..

I don't have a shots from that TP at Eutelsat 7 West A, but if you want to watch Formula 1 FTA on AD Sports 2, <span>it's worth it.</span>

I tuned 1,8m Prodelin to 7*W today. By now I consider this bird as my most fringe one. Cloudy, but 157 services, and this is result of new antenna, I like it. Also started to receive some horizontal polarization.

Except N201, some TPSs of E7WA in NWA beam, I can get all.
N 201 and E7 NWA beam is possible only by winter.(K220)

I do well here on the 1.2 dish even though I have a tree that needs sorting very soon signals are weakening, I might consider getting the jsc sports package, how much is it does anyone know please ?,

my last scan a short while ago pulled 718 tv channels and 60 radio.

Hey everyone, this is my first post and im a noob so please be kind :-)

I moved to Madeira 6 months ago and all i wanted to do was watch ADMC On Nilesat 7w so i got put up a 1.8m dish all was fine till JSC won the Rights!!! Now i have jsc 1-10 SD from Middle-East beam:
12284 V 27500 3/4
11958 H 27500 3/4

But for the life of me could not get a any signal on the HD channels which is on MENA beam 7.3W
12265 H DVB-S2 8PSK 27500 2/3
12476 V DVB-S2 8PSK 27500 2/3

Funny thing is i pick up all OSN channels even mena beam....

As the dish was not offset i replaced with a 1.4 offset i changed LNB still nothing
i even got a 2.4M and STILL nothing on JSC HD... dont know what make of dishes are but they have 3 arms to hold lnb

I looked at sat beams . com and im JUST outside the beam and i hear people in south UK picking these up :-( what is going on guys???

First of all - is your receiver suitable for DVB-S2? If its only a DVB-S receiver no matter what you do you will never get the HD channels.

hi mate yes it is dvbs2 receiver a good one at that :-) Vu Solo 2

Yup that should be fine.

Double check you have ALL the parameters correct - its easy to miss something simple, or get the polarisation round the wrong way.

And the same procedure for the other frequency.


Now 12476 - thats an interesting frequency as that one is a bullseye for interference from DECT phones!

Do you have a digital phone near the receiver? If so switch it off - and the base unit too - and see if you can get it now.

Hi, no i have no phones near my receiver or the sat meter i have..... there is just no signal on them frequencies here....
it has to be something with the dish and Mena beam on 7.3W

I am locking channels here that's way out of my footprint if I am looking at things correctly ? 11277 v 27500 is one along with many others ? on the 1.2 dish.
