1.8m Precision + PLL Bullseye, motorised but probably siezed now.

It's time to clear some garage space since I no longer have any dishes in use.

1M Gibertini with 3 x LNBs. There's a bit of paint flaked off the aluminium dish and the bolts could do with a wire brush but there's no dent's to the face. Central LNB is an Inverto Black Ultra, all working when it was removed a year ago. £40

1.2M Gibertini with LNB and Motech 180 motor. The motor was serviced and regreased in Spring 2023 but has been kept in my shed since. The dish has been repainted grey and has no dents on the face. The motor mount has been strengthened using parts from another Motech and can be seen working. £75

2.4M Fortec Star with a couple of C band LNBs. The mount and bracket work were all Hammerited a few years ago and have been kept in my garage ever since. There is a small amount of corrosion on the mount but it's in very good condition compared to most. This is an excellent dish for C band or lower frequencies, I'd not recommend it for Ku. £50

I've also got an Av-Comm C Band Polariser and Zinwell LNB, pics to follow when I've got it out the loft. Never fitted so in new condition. £50.

Open to sensible offers on all items and it's collect only (or you organise shipping) from Lewes, BN7.
 
Sorry for being off topic, dare I ask what has happened to my old Precision 1.8m?

Back to the topic, the Fortec Star 2.4m and the AV-COMM setup are outstanding value for anyone wiahing to get a decent C-Band setup.
Good luck with the sale, I hope they all find good homes.
 
The Precision is still in place, for now. I still have my TBS card and the positioners for it although it's generally parked on 19E but it does get used from time to time and has a PLL Bullseye? LNB on it for Oscar 100 or whatever the amateur satellite is called. If it doesn't get used this winter when my other interests are quiet then I'll know it's time for it to go too.
 
As long as you take care of it the Fortec is great value for money and works very well on C & X bands.

The C-band Tin-Dish challenge

The early Patriots were awkward in the extreme to align, mainly down to the weight being too far forward, and the Prodelin 3.4 and 3.7m have a 70 degree arc only, with a preference of east or west motor setup only. They track the arc and get the job done, must admit you cant beat custom build...

Hi all! Time for me to bring this old post of mine back from the dead :eek:

A now need to clear our garage for a project so everything listed above (apart from the Av-Comm and Zinwell) has to go by end of August. £100 cash for the lot, buyer collects. If it's still here September 1st it's getting weighed in so please, no offers, no splitting and no courier requests, it's all or nothing.

There are photos in my first post, since taking them it's all been stored in a dry garage so is in in the same condition.
 
Back for a bit of bump as this lot now need to go before building work starts.

If someone wants it all for the price of a zone 2 Sky dish it's yours.

If not it'll be heading to the scrap yard for a weigh-in at the end of the month.
