Dishes on holiday

I dont think so, although thats what i thought when i first came across it it, I got a quick glance at the sign when driving past and it was something like "The European Multimedia station" so i'm none the wiser. Biggest dish was about 4-5m at a guess. No SES signage anywhere.

I thought it was Analoguesats back garden at first :D

I have good friend in the States. He and his wife travel on camper across the USA and Canada from 1st April. I am flowing their journey via Facebook. I asked him to take some picture on BUDs if he spots them on the way. He finally found one, somewhere in Canada.

We went to one city just for sightseeing yesterday, I spotted some antennas on the building. Nothing special, but anyway.... dishes IMG_20160702_172926 (Custom).webp
Remember I told another day that friend of mine is traveling across the USA & Canada from April 1st and still on the way. He is in Alaska now. I asked him to take pictures of BUDs if he see some. I have some strange places where Sky dishes have been installed, but look at this one in Bedale, North Yorks, on the river bank wall, open to kids and vandals alike...IMG_0466.webp

Personally, I would have put it a few feet up on that tree trunk - very thick and won't move much in the wind.
 
Was visiting friend of mine at his work (he works as technician in Latvian Television). Did see lots of antennas , but, unfortunately did not take many pictures (next time I go there will make more picks). They have ~10m uplink dish, but rest dishes are smaller than 4m. He promised to introduce me to people who daily maintain and tune all the dishes just to chat about the ways how to get maximum performance of the antenna-system.

I can see at least a Prodelin 1244, and sevearl of those locally made square'ish dishes.
Don't reckognise the others - but then I again I never did much PF dishes.
Where's the 10 meter? :)
 
10-meter dish is on the ground other side of the building. On the roof I've seen 2,4m Prodelin, 1,8m Prodelin, 3 x 3,7 (maybe 3m) Gregorian Andrew, Channel Master 1,2m on Az/El mount, and many oldies between 90sm and 3m.
 
A few dishes spotted whilst travelling through Judea and Sameria in Israel from the Stalactite Caves near Jerusalem, probably the HOT TV uplink
