Hi there,
This is my mrs box because mine is DM7000 and still doing the job

Problem:
After I tried 3 different images I still have the same problem, I only can get signal from 13east.
The setup is very straight forward 1 dish with 2 lnb's, one for hotbird and one for astra 28. As soon I try to use a diseq switch I lose the signal from one of the satellite (port B) but if I bypass the switch and feed straight from the lnb everything is ok. All ports of the switch are working because I have tested them with a different box (DM7000).

My question is there any image for dm500+ that supports a diseq switch?
Any help is greatly appreciated.(before I dump this bloody box).

All the images support diseqc.. goto sat config in settings and set up ''2 sats via diseqc opt A/B '' select your sats and set to AA & AB.. I think this is how i had it set up with two dishes, can't check as i have it set up with a motor at the moment:)
 
Hi mate,
It is set like that.
This is not my first time setting up satellite stuff. I think the problem is with the power supply, I think it has problems with signal switching.

Yes, all boxes are sensitive to a short so You could accidentilly have shorted the cable.

Don´t know if it hase a fuse( should be one) so look into that.

Always shut down the decoder when You mess with the antenna cable !
 
cheers mate, I'm going to order a power supply and see if it solves the problem.
