DM 500s Clone Missing FTA Channells from Astra 28.2

I have 3 boxes connected to my original Sky Dish i.e. Sky HD, Technomatic 6900 HD USB super combo and a DM 500s clone running Darkman II image CCam213.

I have no control of what Sky picks up from Astra 28.2, on the TM box I get all Sky channel line up plus several FTA channels

However when I perform a default scan on the DM clone I find that not all available FTA channels are found e.g. true movies, movies for men, cbs action etc, children’s cartoon and music channels.

Can someone please advise what I need to do to get the missing channels?

You have to load a full transponder list, then the scan will pick up all the missing channels. The transponder list is in the file satellites.xml.

Thanks for reply however very new to DM scene and not sure what to do next

Does full list exist in image ?

Do I need to download a full list and ftp replace existing list ?

Do I need to use different scan option in services menu to acccess full ?

Sorry if I am asking silly questions

You have a full list of transponders in your image but it is probably out of date. Find an updated satellites.xml file and FTP it to your DM. My satellites.xml file is in the folder var/etc but it might be elsewhere in some images.

An Automatic Satellite Scan should go through all the transponders in your satellites.xml list and pick up every channel on Astra 28°e. Best to do a mains off/on after loading the satellites.xml file and before performing the scan.

Hi and thanks for advice

I did indeed find the file but beacuse of the folder permissions and file permissions I was unable to delete or copy another over it.

I tried changing the permissions via FTP client but no joy

Put a new image Plij and OK now

Next probem get the network record to work
