dm 500s stuck on first page

hi plz help i bought dm 500s
i connected to dish and power it starts and then i can see on screen in back digital kaos and on front select pal and press green
but when i press from remote nothing happens i cannot select any thing

is remote or box is broken?

the front switch for standby also not working nothing happend by pressing it

plz help
 
it is most likely your remote. try another one if you can. i had the same problem.
