DM 7020 and motor problem.

Hello guys,

I am having a problem with my Dreambox 7020. I am using it with a disecq motor so that I can switch satellites. Lately, when I try to go from one satellite to another, the screen displays the message that it is in the process of moving to the new satellite, but it does not. It just stays there.

The strange thing is that there is power to the motor because if I try to move the dish manually (from the motor buttons instead of doing it via the dreambox remote) it moves without any issue. Does anybody have an insight into what might be causing the problem, or any ideas into resolving it?

perhaps late on the response, but check your sat cable connections on both ends...strip and rewire them and try it again, sound s like lack of power in the sat cable, which will drive the motor
