dm500s server not sharing uk

Hi, I have read through many/if not all of the tutorials, guides and threads with anything that may resemble the same issues I am having. Alas to no avail. I am normally able to find the answers I seek on various forums but this time I am still pulling my hair out.

My story: I have a dm500s running a Gemini image, installed cccam 2.1.4 and newcs 1.6.7 changed the cam to the above cams leaving the channel on a fta station. Used B16MCC create newcs & cccam config creator added the box key. Now I have the dm500 reading all the channels. I added cccam.cfg created to the correct folder and newcs.xml created to the correct folder. I added the f: lines to the cccam.cfg . After checking the dm500 server with cccam editor I have ecm and it changes frequently, The card is recognised but the caids in the server tab are not filled in.

My question. Am I missing any files/configs, what is the inportance of the newcamd and why is it enabled as I have not added any newcamd files of configs?

Please help as I am currently cooking a fried egg on my rapidly balding head.

Ok. After further reading I think it could be my N: line. I currently have "n: <dm500s server ip> 15000 CCcam CCcam 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 (this is in my CCcam.cfg in the var/etc
does this link to the newCS.xml <user><user>CCcam</user><password>CCcam</password></user> do they need to be the same in each file?

any help appreciated
