Hi,
title says it all really. I have been trawling through the other threads and the stickies but still I have not been able to get it working.
I have a legit sky card and want to be able to watch the encrypted chanels on my dreambox. I can happily watch the fta channels on the dreambox.
At the moment I have the newcamd 6.05 and 6.07 installed.
Now I have read that I need to have my sky box ID number in a config file. Would this be the betad.cfg file:
The contents of my file are:
SERIAL_PORT = 0
USER = local local
BOXID = 0000000000 a ten digit number of my sky box
So this would be looking for the sky card in the top slot?
where should this betad.cfg file be, at the moment I have it in:
/etc/tuxbox/newcamd/betad.cfg
The read write permission is 755.
Do I need to have a cardserv.cfg file as well?
I have tried this config:
SERIAL_PORT = 0
TCP_PORT = 10001
BOXID = 0000000000 a ten digit number of my sky box
EMM-G = yes
EMM-S = yes
EMM-U = yes
SPECIAL_FEATURES = no
#
where should this cardserv.cfg file be, at the moment I have it in:
/etc/tuxbox/newcamd/cardserv.cfg
The read write permission is 755.
Regarding the BOXID should there be spaces before and after the "=". Is this the case for both config files?
Thanks, any help greatly appreciated and sorry if I am repeating old threads but I just can't seem to get it to work!
