DM800 Channel List

Hi B16MCC im using nabilo blackhole i am trying to get epg data for Itv Meridan South tried using 6130 as id but didnt get any info i used these from previous thread and got epg data but nothing listed for meridian south they all seem to have different channel id numbers

OK, thanks for testing. No one , not even anyone at nabilo can , or won't explain what that number actually is. Let me add those working values to the spreadsheet and see if I can identify any kind of correlation. People refer to it as the Channel ID sometimes, but what is it ?
Very frustrating as no one can explain it properly.

Ok I entered the ITV's that we know from this thread, thanks for that, into the Mega spreadsheet. I can see some kind of correlation between the channel SID's and the Channel ID's. Working with this I've come up with the following. Please test it and let me know.

Ok Meridian South East working 1;6100;ITV1 Merridian South East;37;2F44:7F4:2 seems to have the same id as Meridian south

OK, there is a possibility that the ID has to be unique, so in this case, remove Mer. South East from the list and use 6100 for South to see if you get it.

Ok still populates meridian south east but it seems they both show identical listings seems channel id is linked to cccam.channelinfo file as posted earlier but with a slightly different formula i used the last 3 numbers of the hex after converting it to dec and for local channels 0963 i used 6 instead of suggested 3

the CCcam.channelinfo file is simply the SID in hex. That's all. I have that formula nailed down, the Mega Spreadsheet will make your CCcam.channelinfo file for you, that's tested and working 100%. Nabilo EPG is a totally different ball game mate, I've been chasing these 2 mystery parameters since 0.11 came out.

I have installed the CrossEPG on a DM800 with Gemini 4.6. I am also using an external USB drive. When i run the CrossEPG Downloader from the plugin, it seems to download the EPG from HipHop radio station and store it on the USB drive under "/media/PHILIPS/crossepg/crossepg.descriptors.db".

I assume also that it should create a "ext.epg.dat" in this directory which it will copy/overwrite into the Gemini.epg.dat file, but this is not the case.

I do not have a Hardisk in the DM800 and I am not sure if this will work with an external usb drive.

Please can anybody assist with this problem, as it is driving me crazy.

Hi I had trouble getting it to work but all is fine now with hard drive i had to download and install loadepg Plugin for hdd from blue panel before installing crossepg plugin there is a loadepg for usb i then had to edit cross-epgmove and enigma2.sh files

Secondly how to delete un-used channels from my DM 800 HD clone box.

Most of those channels are not available in Europe. If you want the Zee channels then buy a subscription for the channels via Sky UK.

thanx for quick and prompt reply admin. it means we can only watch channels which are received by the sattelite antena and dreambox doesnt receive any channels through internet? if yes then why do we connect it to the broadband? thanks once again
