has anybody heard of a new version of the DM800hd called the dm800hd plus??

i havent heard anything but i was looking for a 2nd dm800hd and saw this on the website below.

yes mate, Mark at satstore (official retailer) also confirms expected arrival of new 800+. I think I can feel some fleebay coming on !
 
Thats interesting because although I have an original I have bought a couple of clones from a uk based seller. I wanted one the other day and went on the site to get one but they were out of stock. I asked when they were coming back in stock and they said they didn't know as the processors had become very difficult to source. Maybe thats got something to do with it...!
 
excellent, sounds good. i'll hold on for this plus version so!
 
I think they burnt their fingers by releasing the 500HD that in most aspects is better than the 800 and this is the way forward to save the 800. The processor is just too slow on the 800 and this might fix the problems I have had with it (mostly very slow response to remote control). I have a strong anticipation that we will also see an 8000+ with an even quicker processor. Only problem is I think it might push up the price of these boxes.
 
they've said they're releasing a DM800SE (2nd edition) which has a faster processor, 2 smartcard slots & a newer DVB-S2 tuner. they're also releasing a new DM7020HD which will have the faster processor, the new DVB-S2 tuner and also have a slot for a 2nd P&P tuner! finally something between the 800 & 8000. both will have colour oled screens
