Hi,

I got a second hand Dreambox 800HD that I have flashed with Dreamelite image for the 2.01 sim that i checked is the sim i have.
Box is most likely a clone but i can get all working apart from when I hit any HD channel, I then get a tune error and a Transponder error
and I have to reboot my DM to get back to watch any channel as it appears to just hang abit and get same error on all channels then.

CCam 2.14 is installed and working for non HD channels

I am using Astra 28E simple sat config as i only have one stationary dish and one lnb.

Any ideas?

Paul

Do a rescan, make sure that network search is ticked.

The channels are just not there. Its probably got something to do with when sky altered the symbol rates on some HD channels a few months back.

Its either that or you have one of the older revision tuners which didn't work.

I used SGT flip/flop channel list onto the box, this is the third image i have used now Zoon Gemini too

Had a problem using the tune option

I'm going off memory here, but it should be in the tuning menu.

I've gone back to using my DM7020Si as i just found the DM800 unbearably slow so it had to go, plus i was skint at the time :-lmao

If that doesn't work have a look at this.

Being a Clone 2.01 which is getting on a bit now seeing as all the new ones are 2.10 i would hazard a guess also at the tuner its more likely the old L3 type and needs replacing for an Alps M Tuner which solved the problem of the missing HD channels.

Thats a revision 'K' the older type if you turn it over onto the metal casing side does it say ALPS in one of the corners, The newer revision 'M' will solve your HD problem either try and get one of the bay or order from china direct.
