Hi all,

I use a twin 4.1 Dragon Cam with a Echostar to view TPS channels on hotbird. I have successfully loaded new predator .dra files via CAS for about a year now (since purchasing the set up). However, for last couple of weeks the new .dra files have not been working. All that happens is that I might get about 15 seconds of a channel, then it scrambles. Can someone suggest what I can do about this - Is my cam corrupt? Shall I buy a new cam or can it be repaired. I know that the cam still works when an official smartcard is inserted. It is just the memory on the cam that is affected.

Firstly there has been an encryption change so I do not think is it currently available although I would have thought 4.1 was a tad out of date, 4.6 is the current version is it not?

as Topper has stated TPS is not available on any Cam at present, using the AES encryption, but the channels broadcasting in Mediaguard 2 are available on the Diablo Cam or the K3 card.
There are rumours that a couple of receivers have already cracked the new encryption and so it could be back fairly shortly.
The new T-Rex supermodule 4.6 will give you the Premiere package on Astra 1 19.2E, but that is the only advantage the 4.6 has over the 4.1 at present.

TPS and Diablo cam >

My understanding is that 13°e TPS (in seca) is NOT available at present with a Diablo cam on its own (you would need a K3 card).

There is much confusion about this - so if anyone can definitely confirm from personal experience that the Diablo can get TPS on 13°e please post.
 
The Diablo Cam is widely reported as now opening the same packages as the K3 card, and this is from owners, but they only open the Seca, Mediaguard 2, channels, and there is a problem with TPS Football, black screens, reported on the K3 card, although at present the reason is unknown.
 
I am now certain that the Diablo cam will NOT open any TPS channel on 13°e on its own.

The information you have was correct during most of November, but events have moved on.

are you sure as many owners claim different, although a new stealth file wasn't produced, I thought they provided a key editor and file just to update the keys for the 3 Seca 2 packages.
I'll have a browse around tomorrow and see if the Diablo is opening the packages.

I am now 100% sure that the Diablo can't get any TPS channel (as at 6 Dec 2006).

TPS was cleared on ID 0080 but has changed to only IDs 0083 and 0084 and I haven't seen any keys for these IDs.

Of course it might come back.
 
If the Diablo Cam wasn't opening TPS, the Seca 2 emulation, I am sure that there would be a lot more complaints on the various forums.
I personally don't own a Diablo cam, I have the T-Rex 4.6, but have found the bin file for C+France, C+NL and Cyfra +. posted 29.11.2006, this is the name of the file.
0C key for CSat_C+Fr._C+Ned & Cyfra+ are updated!
The read me file states the same, hopefully an owner can confirm or deny if these channels are open.
There is also a new stealth 1.77 file out.
I also have a K3 card and was experiencing problems with TPS, but only TPS Football, but this has changed and it is now working again.
 
Stealth 1.77 on my Diablo won't open TPS even just using seca2 emu.

Worse, Premiere now down 0845 06/12/06.

Reports around that Premiere is back on Diablo and Anaconda but nothing yet for the T-Rex, also reports of a new card on the market, but no one knows what it opens, any guesses !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got the Diablo yesterday, much impressed. Works well on the TD and Humax HD for Prem HD.

I have just had it confirmed, by an expert with the Diablo Cam, and you're right, for some reason this cam is no longer opening TPS, although it still opens the other 3 packages the K3 does, C+NL, C+France and Cyfra +, along with Premiere, something my T-Rex 4.6 doesn't do at the moment, hopefully us T-Rex owners will have something to look forward to very soon.

Hi guys, total newbie here....appreciate some advise on an issue with my t-rex cam:

loaded the latest 354.dra from this forum onto a t-rex 4.1 using CAS3 and a dummy card. The cam initialized fine and the Manhattan box sees the updates.....but none of the channels works(I know about problem with some of the channels from this forum)...is there something I'm doing wrong? Or is there something I'm missing (I'm not using the loader card that came with the t-rex)

welcome to the forum, first of all this forum does not supply keys or files, so you could not have got Predator 354 off this forum.
Secondly there is not a lot open at present, only a few biss channels, SRG swiss on hotbird, and a few cryptowork channels. There are a few others available but no major package since TPS altered their encryption, if you have a read through the forum you will discover what is available.
All us Dragon/T-Rex cam owners can do is wait for the Dragon Team to release some new files.

Reports on other frorums suggest that there will be new files for the T-rex this weekend, someone posted a 208 file but it was a fake 207)(-red
We wait and live in hope:-worship
