Hi I am new to this site and also new to world of satellite boxes.
I have bought a dreambox 500S new and it comes with ENIGMA software to change channels.
I have managed to find loads of channels from all the different frequencies and what not.. Now I am stuck because not all the pay channels work. I have done some research and found that you can do card sharing where you share the server and stuff..
I need help to set that up. Can some one help me? Step by step guide or something. I have looked and searched a lot for this but no real help with Engima software.
I don’t mind paying for sharing the channels e.g. card sharing .can some one please help me with this????????
Any help to set it up with be great as I am stuck with IP address and DHCP mask and all sorts please if any one using card sharing can take me through some steps would be appreciated.

Welcome to the site.

Others will be able to help you with Dreambox specifics but you will have to tread carefully on the subject of card sharing. We do not stop discussion of private card sharing, where you use your own card, but specifically ban any and all talk of commercial card sharing. As you mention paying for encrypted channels, this sounds like what you are looking for so be careful.

If someone has sold the Dreambox to you as an easy answer then you have been misinformed. You will need days of work to get it working even half properly and months to even approach "user" status - never mind "expert".

No-one will take you through card sharing step by step - if for no other reason it could get the forum closed down. All the info you need is contained right here on the forum. However YOU have to sit down and do a few hours reading There are no shortcuts to getting a DB up and running - do the work or do without.
