Dreambox 7020

Hi. I am a noob to all this so please excuse me if i am asking stupid questions. I will be getting my dreambox 7020 soon. In the meantime the setup is a sky dish with 2 sky digiboxes. What i want to do is leave these intact and add my dreambox to the setup. There are spare slots on the LNB so connection is not a problem. I see that to get the dreambox to connect to Sky you have to use the Box id of an existing digibox. If i was to use the details from one of the existing digibox's and cards to get my dreambox decoding the channels i want would this effect the current digibox i.e would it stopp working. Is it possible to copy the card details into the dreambox and return the smartcard to the digibox and for them both to work seperately. I have seen some posts about card sharing but what i am unclear about is does there have to be a connection from the dreambox to the box with the valid card or once its setup this connection is not required. Thanks and sorry again about the questions. There is a lot of info to try and take in. Cheers.

The only way a Dreambox will work with Sky, is if you insert a valid Sky subscription card and keep it in the box. It would not work with Sky multiroom, as you are required to have all of the boxes connected to the same phone line, which of course you cannot do with the digibox, it would however work if you only had one subscription card and a couple of Dreamboxes running card sharing software and had them connected to your network.
