Dreambox control centre problems

My Satellite Setup
dreambox 800 hd with dcc and dbe
My Location
scotland
Putting a dm800 hd in for a friend, I flashed box with dreamelite bh Phoenix edition. Problem though is with dcc it connects pc and dreambox ok but have red line going to router. I have message on protocol saying:

Telnet connected
Ftp connected


I have nothing in below FTP connected? Where it should say enigma 2 detected.
At top where the red lone is it says checking network.
When I try to click ftp there are no files showing so I can't put cline in.

I connected my own box and it does the same as above but the sky channels are all working ok?

So I plan to take his box home and put his cline in using my own dcc and take it back over to him.
Does anyone know what the issue might be in the control centre? Is it a router issue? I use netgear, his is a speedtouch 585 v6.
Any help would be appreciated!
 
You have no IP address in the router box in DCC? Have you done a search using the search button if you don't know the router address?
 
Yes I know how to put router ip in but it still does not connect even though ip is correct , it still says checking
Network..... It's like it's froze or something.

Eventually got it all green for a while and it still won't detect it in protocol? And although FTP and telnet connected when I go to use FTP no files are there?
 
If the router connection is intermittently green, I would suspect a poor LAN cable connection.

Does the DB show in Netgear Manager - Attached devices?
 
I checked his router, it does see the device in his router ? I don't know if there is something else that is disabeling it?
Set it up for him earlier and his sky is running fine even though the red bar is between dbox and router picture?? It's strange but I'm glad it's working! Would like to kno the cause of it not FTP ing for future reference, as I said earlier dcc and my netgear router work fine when I put his box on it?.
