I have decided to buy the above box in the next few weeks.

I live in Woodford Green, Essex.

And was wondering if this dish would be big enough the 1.0m Orbital motorised dish. Technomate TM2600 motor and Titanium LNB. or can anybody recommend a Motorised Dish.

I know box comes with 2 x Smartcard Readers, would that be enough or would I need to also buy the Argolis Triple Reader.

Hi,

Looking for sats that cover Saturday Premiership 3.00pm kick off games.

I already have SKY HD for all other games.

I watch the Saturday games on the Internet and wanted a better way of looking at the games.

Many Thanks

The 3pms are getting harder to receive - FAPL put the dampers on the easy stuff last season.

You need to do some reading around and make a decision on which service might suit you - then ask what size dish is required - some of the services need a MUCH bigger dish than 1m!

Hi,

I was looking at getting a DreamBox DM 7020 HD to watch the Premiership Saturday 3pm Games.

I thought that a 1.0 metre dish would be big enough, but have been informed that may not be big enough.

I already have SKY HD for all other games.

I watch the Saturday games on the Internet and wanted a better way of looking at the games.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated in what size dish I would need. and would the Dreambox be a good enough box.

Many Thanks :):):)

Dreamboxes are not a magic bullet.

We only permit discussion of legitimate methods here, so you would need to decide which Package(s) you want to Subscribe to and then establish whether the DM can read your Card.

As with the dish size problem first of all you will need to decide which service you want to watch - we cant possibly give you any help until you make this vital decision.

:)

You also need to think about your total budget - if you want all the games in HD then you might easily be looking at £1500 to £2k per year just for the subscription costs if you have to use a uk based reseller of the subscription..

Or maybe you want the biggest choice of games - then you will need a massive and very expensive 8 foot dish, spend several hundred pounds to have it set up by someone used to dealing with big dishes.

Please note we arent being awkward - just asking which equipment you require is the satellite equivalent of how long is a piece of string :D

The page you list is simply a list of which satellite channels are showing matches.

Hi,

Many Thanks.

The help I need is that, I am new to Satelitte, and I can see that these matches will be shown different channels.

For example the first game on the list is Arsenal V Sunderland at 3pm, it shows that it will be shown by different Satellites and certain channels have Encryption and some do not.

My question is do I need to buy Cards/Cams to watch the encryted channels, and where can I purchase these Cards/Cams.

Any advice greatly appreciated.:):):)

The ones listed as FTA (BISS) on the Liveonsat site invariably encrypt as soon as the football starts.

I suggest you immediately forget anything labelled as AD Sport - they have very weak signal in the UK and require very big dishes indeed

The same applies to any channels being carried on Yamal 49E

Supersport SA channels on 68E can be scratched off the list as they are being transmitted to South Africa and arent possible in Europe.

Sport1 (Russia) transmits on Russian beams and again isnt really possible in western Europe.

So thats narrowed your list of possibles down a bit.

Yes a 1m dish will be fine for those Channels on 7E - but please be aware that in reality they do not broadcast many games at all, especially 3pms (despite whatever you've read that might suggest otherwise).

Also be aware that the picture and sound quality is worse than awful: I suspect they are re-transmissons from either a webstream or another low quality (and probably dodgy) source. And I hope your French is up to scratch!

Many Thanks,

Also can anybody recommend a reputable firm for dish installation, for Woodford Green, Essex.

Also what should I pay for installation for a 1 meter motorised dish.

Any advice, greatly appreciated.
