Hi

Can some one please help me

I am looking for a dreambox that I can use in my caravan

with so many to chose from i am a bit puzzled as to what one to get

I would like one that I can put my motorised dish on

I have upto 150GBP to spend

So please can somebody help me out

What do you actually want to receive? A bog standard DM500 will do for standard definition channels.

I would like to receive 28 East S*y and 13 East HotB***

I would like to put a Ccline in it if it possible

Working of a Zoom 3G Wireless Modem with a 3G dongle for my internet connection

Do you think this is possible ????
 
If you wand HD channels and a DM800se is out of your pocket range, try VU+ at a much lower price.
It acts like a Dreambox.
Why motorize when you can get the 2 satellites with a couple of dishes and a disequc switch?

Is it possible to get away with two LNB's on a single dish ???

You could use a bracket with 2 LNBs on the same dish as Captain jack recomended,
but you need a relatively large dish to get the signals from satellites 16 degrees apart.
You will not get the weaker signals.
The single dish solution works nicely with Astra on 19 East and Hotbird on 13 East.
It is better to fix 2 smaller dishes(80cm), one for 13E and the other for 28E and get all the signals.

You can combine the signals from the 2 dishes using a 2 input disequc switch.
When you select a channel from either satellite, the switch selects the correct satellite immediately within a second.
 
Hi

I am a bit confused about the two small dishes.

I was hoping to cut that down to one as it is extra items to carry in the caravan

I have Just got myself a Ross Satellite system from a friend

It has a 80cm dish and a FTA Receiver an LNB and tripod

He has also got a Dreambox 500s which is blank

What do I need to do to set up the dish say for SLY 28 East

As the DB is blank how do I go about setting it up so that I can put a Ccline in it to use in my caravan

Please I need all the you can possible give me as this is all new to me
