Dreambox frozen?

Hello everyone,

I am a total n00b if it comes to the dreambox. I only know how to do stuff on tit but I don't know anything about flashing and software updating etc.

So I have a problem. I was installing my new TV, when my Dreambox froze. The green led is on all the time. Even if I unplug it and plug it back in the green led comes on directly. No red led or anything on the screen. No reaction to the remote control either. Tried pressing the Standby button and keeping it pressed as well. I even unplugged it for two hours and plugged it back in. Still nothing.

I hope you guys can help me out here. And if it needs to have some sofware re-installed or something like that, please link to a guide to do that, because I have no idea how to do that.
 
The only way now is to flash it using a serial connection using a null modem lead and dreamup software, the software will detect if the box is still alive first so you know you can upload an image
 
Hello,

I have exactly the same problem. I tried to connect my box via serial connection but it didn't response. May I try to JTAG or it seems that box is totally dead?
