i have dreambox receiver commander 5000ir
i dont know if its in the right section because i dont understand anything about satelite...
recently i have bought dreabox but every one 2 or three weeks it expires
and i have to do everytime a long way to reupdate the codes to a friends house so to show the channels
is there anyway to do this job by my self?

Yes of course there is and you can learn everything you need by spending several hours reading the dreambox sub section right here o this forum :)
 
can you give me a link man?
because i dont even know what i have to search to find the right solution
im not lazy really
 
Try installing the hacksat key updater plugin. Whether it will work for channels that you view I can't say.

where can i find this and how can i install it on my dreambox?

You wont get to watch nova with keys, hacksat or any other.

When you say "every one 2 or three weeks it expires", what exactly do you mean?

It sounds as if your friend has set you up with card sharing. So, you'll need to figure out what cam you are running and take it from there.

every 1 or 2 weeks it telling me when im trying to open a channel that is coded (this happen because it expire i think or they find that the codes are pirated , really i dont know)
my friend told me that he has a machine that he put my card in it and he updates the codes from the net automatically
only this informations i know can u help me pls ? i couldnt find a solution yet
 
what card are have you got...its a bit mis leading what your saying ..it maybe a cas 3 card programmer hes on about ..but you have dreambox which is normally used for linux the net cs which could clear nova ................ nova can also be cleared by a gamma card and files from the net . i supose . do you have a card in your dreambox..

i have a card in my dreambox its all white and one other friend i dont know if said true told me that its a clone

if it clears greek nova , then it must be a gamma card ..yes you have to program updates into the card every so often .. i use a cas 3 and gamma card loader 1.1 to put files on . to be honest ive never tried on me dm box the card ..i just use in me dragon cam stuck in me tm 1500... also are you sure its the nova on 13 east and not 1 west ...:)

so how can i adjust my dreambox ?
can u help me by telling me step by step what i have to follow?
how can i transfer those data and where can i find this apps?
thanks(like i said before im interesting only for nova cyprus and nova greece)
 
okay ..thats sorts out one thing then ... firstly have you get a card programmer .. i use a cas 3 and the latest duolabs cas studio programe and get into the next loader for gammacard
 
ive tried to find a guide on here . can t find one their must be one somewhere ..also make double sure e mail your friend and ask him if its a gamma ..it must be ..
 
so i need to buy a machine that can be connected via usb to the pc and i must put the dreambox card inside this machine and program it via the program on my pc?
also i can find the nova greece and cyprus via this program? and put the codes to my card?

yes the cas 3 com via usb but you also need a serial lead 9 pin male female together to work......, the cas 3 works off program duolabs cas studio ( i have 3 c at the moment ) ..you also need network frame (microsoft 3.5 1 have on your pc) i think its to do with gamma loader v 1.1.. once you start up cas stuio go utilities, then phoenix 3.579 mhz then hide .. then the gamma loader comes into play this is the program that puts file on gamma card .. its sounds complicated but it not really you have to have loaders the gamma files ..i must say please make sure its a gamma , my gamma clears nova but i hardly use it cause i get it on cs anyway .. but make sure ..good luck and also beware because no body knows how long these updates will suported..its been going a while ..most of the loaders are avaible on the net ..

yes.. you can buy them any computer shop flea bay ..i will see if theirs any other loaders that can be used of late .. i dont think their is though ..
