hi dreambox 7020 turned up from falcon sat today has a 2 pin plug power cord is that normal 4 uk box i know i can get new one or adaptor screw driver ect just thought it would have come with 3 pin socket for 300 pounds

Nope, they are nearly all supplied with only the 2 pin plugs I'm afraid. However I do agree that a £300 box should perhaps include one of the adaptors, as my wholesale supplier does and these are receivers less than a fifth of that price.

first problem all ready when i move motor to set limits its back to front .hh motor powererd via coax cable .also motor input power motor says max 350 mil amp but in the motor set up it do not go that high so i set it to 200 mili amp is that ok .sorry if this is in the wrong section now.

sorted the motor turned off motor input power.. turnerd off goto x will now find and load up sats ..remote control movement is still back to front but i suppose thats the fun of it..

Those 2 pin adaptors are dangerous. You can get arcing inside them if the pins on the lead waggle loose. Chop the adaptor off and put a proper 3 pin plug in it.

Not the ones I use, they have a fastening screw, there is no way that they're going to come loose. :)

found a couple of threads about moving the motor with the remote control and aparantly its the right way round .you have to imagine u are standing in front of the dish.which makes it right.i have a Q im setting up a wireless network .am i right in saying .i need to have the wireless router connected to the dreambox with a short earthnet cable then i will be able to communicate with the dreambox from my pc through the wireless network.i need to be sure as i will have to move the router .all so why do the dreambox have to be connected to the net apart from downloading images.
