[QUOTE="PoloMint, post: 119524, member: 175235"] I was watching a DVD last night, there was something strange with the audio and subtitle options. The disc was bought in spain, and had audio: Spanish DTS, Spanish 5.1 and English 5.1. The only subtitles it had were Spanish. But from the language menu on the DVD if English audio was selected Spanish subtitles had to be selected (the subtitles off option wasn't available), but with either of the Spanish audios the subtitles could be turned off. However when the film was playing the subtitles could be turned off from the DVD player remote. I can't understand why it should be set up like that, unless it is some form of export protection – but that doesn't really make sense as the film was originally in English. Any ideas anyone?
