e2 webinterface password?

dm500 dm800
My Location

hi all
if i go into the addon webinterface and turn Require Authorization on
then when i connet to my 800 i get the user name and password page but if i put the correct user name and the correct password in it wont let me into the 800 so is there somewhere i have to put the user name and password
any halp would be great

Yeah, same problem here. Pity there is no documentation that will answer these questions.

hi,
you can use the webinterface menu on DM800 to disable the authtentication methode, juste set to NO.

Only thing is anyone can then gate crash my dreambox and access CCcam settings, etc :(

yes the whole idea of this thread was to be able to switch on the auth.
so the 800 can be protected.
but if i put it on it does not accept the box's usr and pass
