Hi people, im new here, obviously. I need your help please i have an echostar dbs 707. how do i programme the remote control and can i and how do i enter codes and reveal hidden items, please help, thanx

I have a DSB-707 Viaccess that I was given to watch freesat tv. My friend who moved used it to watch BBC on Astra. I turned it on and it finds channels but I can not save them. I reset factory settings but it works the same way. I called my friend but she did not do the setup so she does not know.
I have the book and it does not address this problem Please help me as I did searches and can not find a solution.

If you hadn't reset to factory settings, I would have said the channel database was full. Worth deleting those that you don't need though and trying again I suppose.
