Scriptwriter and sometime performer Eddie Braben does today at his home in North Wales after a short illness.

Best known as a scriptwriter for the likes of Ken Dodd and, more famously, Morecombe and Wise I also remember his radio programmes The Show with Ten Legs and The Show with No Name. Lost classics for sure.

RIP Eddie.

Paul Merton did a nice retrospective about him in the second half of Radio 4's PM Prog. tonight.
