Yesterday i finish the small project for doing elavation for 90 cm Fibo with orginal mount.
It works like i think and will.
Monday i hope i can change the last think for it (when theworkplace is open) if not it must be done 4 Jan 2008.
I will make a small bearring insite extra.
Will make some photo's later to day and put them here.
idea are elevation from orginal clarck belt 0 to 10 degrees up and down and keep the orginal mount no jaeger 1224 system.

Nice work!! looks like a really clean assembly.
So you have one motor for side movement and one for up and down?

Another Question: If you would mount the original polar mount at an angle depending on your position in the world, would that not do the job (keeping the dish on the C-Belt) without having to use another motor?

The clark-belt is a circle centered on the earths center
The arc described by one motor disk has a center on the earths surface.
The two can never be completely coincident

I use that elevation for Feedhunting and as you now 20 W, 3E and 37,5 W are out of the belt they are incl. with 3,8 degrees now i turn my fibo with the orginal motor to 3 E and lift the disch 3,8 degrees and yep picture. so i can see 20 W all time he have 2 degrees i remember.
Thats the idea behind it.

Have a look a this:
"...The largest 40" Primestar dish is on a Poor mans H-H mount!
I off-set the mast to match my exact latitude (45º) then when I move the dish from side to side it follows the Clarke Belt!"

Today i have with my hobby friend Feedhunter Rini doing some test in garden with a 99 Greg.

20 W are not in clarkbelt atfter change the dish a little down we have 80 % Q from it so he are below the belt. we found in belt no TP and when use the system we found 11 TP's.
Also we look on some ather sat's and found that on 10 East some % gomming up. ( not realy intrested the TP are 60 % and good picture bud when use the system we see 82%.)

Soon as the wether are better i change my system for this Elevation.

Up to the next project.

Rotor control for 36V Fibo motors by PC with standalone system.

Yes, keep us updated on progress. A picture of the box showing the front/back would be interesting.
